In-Home Caregiver

In-Home Caregiver Needed for Bedbound Female Patient (Mixed Shift, 24 hrs/wk) 

Currently accepting applications for in-home caregiver for elderly, bedbound female patient.  

Position requires no less than three (3) years’ experience providing full or part-time hospice/end-of-life care in similar in-home setting or a skilled nursing facility. CNA licensing is not required but is a significant plus.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: 

• Assisting with hygiene needs/monitoring output for records 

• Patient repositioning to prevent pressure sores (currently 2-hour intervals) 

• Monitoring patient comfort and well-being 

• Feeding (soft food, spoon/syringe as tolerated) 

• Giving medication in accordance with established schedule 

• Providing light housekeeping related to the patient’s area 

• Other treatments as implemented by hospice 

• Offering compassionate companionship and support 

Schedule requires flexibility/open availability (shifts may fluctuate)

Pay Rate: $15/hour 

Location: East Florence, Florence AL  

Note: home is occupied by one (1) additional family member (male, patient’s spouse)
